Jonathan Roche
Founder
Jonathan Roche is the Founder and CEO of Breakthrough Health, Inc. He is an Award-Winning Fitness Expert, Best-Selling Author, a 12-time Ironman Triathlon Finisher, a 26-time Boston Marathon Finisher (running 25 straight to raise funds for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) and he holds two patents on Personalized Interval Training.
In 1995 Jonathan weighed 224 pounds and was wearing size 38 pants when his Dad (who was obese) died of Cardiac Arrest. Jonathan lost 44 pounds after losing his Dad and has kept it off for 22 years. He has seen first-hand how health problems can negatively impact families and is therefore very passionate about helping people lose weight and keep it off for good.
Jonathan’s best Boston Marathon finish is 3:12. His top Ironman Triathlon time was 9:50 (while running a 3:26 marathon) when he finished 80th out of 2,000 participants. Jonathan’s goal is to run 50 straight Boston Marathons (he will be 73 while running his 50th) and at that time consider trying to extend the streak to 75 straight (he will be 98 while running his 75th).
Jonathan’s first book “The No Excuses Diet: The Anti-Diet Approach To Crank Up Your Energy & Weight Loss!” was featured on the Today Show and hit #3 on the Amazon Best Seller List.

Jack Fultz
Advisor
Jack Fultz won the 1976 Boston Marathon in extreme heat with a time of 2:20:19. It remains the hottest Boston Marathon on record with temperatures reaching 100 degrees one hour before the noon start time.
Jack ran a personal best mile of 4:08 while attending Georgetown and he qualified for three consecutive United States Olympic Trials marathons in 1972, 1976, and 1980.
He is currently an instructor of sport psychology at Tufts University, a fitness consultant and personal coach, and a training consultant to the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge.
Jack is an amazing coach because he truly cares and he treats everyone as the brilliant athlete they are (whether they are running 5Ks in 45 minutes or running a marathon in less than three hours).
